Google Stadia Founder’s Edition

Google Stadia will launch next month

If you bought the $130 Founder Edition package then you will be getting to test and use Google Stadia from November 19. This comes with the Chromecast Ultra and a unique Stadia Controller which will allow you to play in 4K assuming your TV supports it. The Founder Edition also comes with a Buddy Pass which is a three-month Stadia Pro subscription that you can give to a friend.

Both of the devices that come with that package cost $70 each so purchasing it early does save you a decent amount of cash if you wanted to go for the Stadia Pro package. The Pro package is a monthly subscription which offers discounts on games, free monthly games and more. The Stadia Base version is free and limited to 1080p only.

However, if you want to start playing on Google Stadia next month then you will need to purchase the Founder Edition. Everyone else will be getting access from sometime in 2020. Google should hopefully have more information about this after the soft-launch next month.
